Hi there, friends! We're enjoying a warm, sunny weekend here in Dallas, and if that's not an excuse to celebrate with ice cream sandwiches, I don't know what is. These little treats are so tasty - chocolatey and caramely and salty. But what put them over the top for me is how dang cute they are.
My shipment from Walker's this month included these adorable little scottie dog cookies, and I immediately knew I wanted to use them. They're fantastic chocolate shortbread with little chunks of chocolate throughout... YUM.
The richness of the cookies along with the salty caramel ice cream of top is just heavenly. It's time for ice cream sandwiches, people!
And! To get you started with these treats, Walker's is offering all Little Kitchie readers 20% off your entire purchase at www.us.walkersshortbread.com with the code LKCHOCOLATE2014 through February 28th.
